Surfing

The windsurfing center is situated in camping Pomer and all the courses and trainings take place there. The Club offers the possibility to rent also kayaks and windsurfing equipment. During the summer season the Club is open every day from 11 a.m. till 7.00 p.m.

COURSES



 Test course  1h 200 kn

It lasts 1h and consists of the theory and practice on the simulator and on the sea.

This course gives people the opportunity to try the windsurfing arts and to see if they want to proceed with the next corse: the basic course.



 Basic course   6h 800kn
                       8h  900kn

It lasts 6, respectively 8 hours.

This course covers both theory and practical applications on the simulator and on the water.

The theory includes the windsurfing basis: the effect of the aerodynamics and hydrodynamics on the equipment, the parts of the equipment, the directions of wind currents and dangers at sea.

Practice begins on the coast on a mobile simulator and it includes: climbing on board,raising the sails, the basic position, sailing position, changing the direction of sailing and the basis of turning against and down wind.Once overcomed the practice on the simulator follows the same procedure in the sea, with the instructor.

The initial purpose of the basic course is to enable each partecipant to move independently on the sea.

 Advanced course   5h 700kn

It lasts 5h and includes: surfing in the middle and high wind,without a central keel, water start, driving in the straps, turn downwind and achieving maximum speed.

This course is open to those who have successfully passed the previous course.

 Fun course   1h  250kn

Is made for those who have passed the basic course or have already some basis and want to improve themselves.

This course includes: advanced turn with the wind, turn downwind, beach start,driving with a trapeze and improvement: riding along and downwind.

 Race (competitive-slalom)course   1h  250kn

For all those who want to learn more about competitions is the race course.

It involves: the arts of precise starting, achieving maximum speed, the techniques of competitive race turns, technics of overcoming the adversary and turning around the buoy.
